Multiplayer MUST HAVE COOP OR TEAMS OPTION ?

Hi,


I just bought an elite copy and one for my friend.We plan on playing this game together, and like all games we play together, we vastly prefer to play on the same team or coop.
Now, in Civ5 teams shared research, I don't know if I prefer that or not but please SD remember to put in a teams option.
It seems like a common option but not all multiplayer games have it.
