Appel aux modders et amateurs !

Bonjour à tous,

Je viens à vous pour lancer un appel à tous les joueurs et créateurs passionnés par ce moteur important du jeu vidéo qu’est le modding.

Je travaille pour le site tomsgames.fr (à ne pas confondre avec tomsgames.com) qui est depuis sa création un support pour la diffusion des mods. Et pour cause ! Nous pouvons comptabiliser 27900 fichiers, faisant de nous la première base de données francophone. Aujourd’hui les têtes de rédaction souhaitent passer à la vitesse supérieure, mais cela va dépendre de la réussite de ce projet.

Nous voulons promouvoir le travail de toutes les communautés de modding français en regroupant une petite communauté de moddeurs qui sera basée sur irc et nos forums dédiés (qui a dit archaïques !?), lorsque ceux-ci seront en ligne ce vendredi.
Nous comptons régulièrement faire référence à chacun de vos sites et améliorer la visibilité de vos projets à travers des interviews, présentations, tests, téléchargements, etc... Tom’s Games c’est tout de même 20 millions de pages vues par mois dont 15 % sur les téléchargements.
Nous espérons aussi mettre en relation les communautés entre elles pour promouvoir les talents qui les composent. Il faut avouer que la communication sur les mods est trop faible en France, réservée à une poignée de sites spécialisées.

Alors pour démarrer, j’ai besoin de quelques personnes motivées à monter les premières pierres de l’édifice. Si vous êtes mappeur, moddeur, ou tout simplement amateur et que vous voulez faire partager cette passion, je vous invite pour commencer à venir sur le canal irc : #tomsgames.fr ; serveur quakenet qui vient d’ouvrir ses portes, et à venir vous inscrire sur le forum, (aussi vétuste soit-il :p) lors de l’ouverture des sections Mods vendredi.

Contenu du forum :

• Vos Tests : Essayez des mods et poster vos tests pour tenter d’être publié sur le site !
• Vos Mods : Présentez vos propres mods et faites vos demandes de recrutement.
• Discussions : Discussions générales sur les mods pour partagez vos coups de cœur.
• Ajouts et Bugs : Pour les demandes liées à nos téléchargements.

Ces sections sont bien entendu amenées à évoluer si nécessaire, car le projet n’en est qu’à ses balbutiements. Je remercie d’avance ceux qui nous aiderons à le bâtir.
