Yeah, they went quite well. In terms of French reading, I got the highest grade but I need some work on Listening. Writing and Speaking are both fine but both need a slight bit of work for Speaking, non pronounciation of silent letters and pronounciation of nasel vowel and for writing I just need to remember what I need to write and some directions of accents - confusion between é and è often like "élèves".

Here is a more complicated version of results:

Grade 1 and 2: Highest
Grade 3 and 4: Average
Grade 5 and 6: Quite low
Grade 7: Fail

French Reading: Grade 1
French Listening: Grade 3
French Speaking: Grade 2
French Writing: Grade 2
Overall Grade: Grade 2

Not bad?

Not bad at all !
Very good job ! French is a very complicated language, even for some French people !
There are some French guys that have confusions with é and è !

Go on man, not many English speakers take the time to learn French !

By the way, you told us to correct you if necessary, but don't hesitate to do the same with me !

I don't find French hard, in fact I find it rather easy compared to Spanish or German. If someone were to ask me to recommend a language to learn, I'd choose French because it's beautiful as with the accents I've heard (especially in films such as "The Pink Panther" and "Mr. Bean").

I hope this doesn't cause offense to anybody on here but some English speakers are rather stuck up, some think learning another language is boring, rubbish etc. but it's not, it may take years of your life away but it's well worth it because you have the ability of going to another country and speaking their language instead of them being lazy and just speaking English to native people who barely understand what that person is saying.

I think your English is almost perfect ;) But, one little problem (English is quite strange with this) but us English speakers don't leave a gap between Question Marks and Exclamation Marks ("Are you okay? YES!" unlike "Are you okay ? YES !" etc.) I used to not leave a gap in French then I realised I was doing it wrong, same with parenthesis ("..." and «...»)

Both our languages are quite Important I think, I don't think English should be as necessary as what it is right now but the English vocabulary isn't that beautiful as the French one, such as "le, la, les" against "the". le and la sound more beautiful than the.

@ worldburns: It looks almost the same but it doesn't sound the same, I think in French it sounds like (léj-ond) and in English it sounds like (ledg-end).

I know that,I just asked if the "e" letter at the end of "legende"(from gta legende) change the sound of the original English word:"legend".

So legend/legende:Does it sound different?(pronounced in English)

hehe, by the way, was English hard or easy to learn - I was under the impression it was quite easy because we don't have many geners but I want to find out from a non-native's point of view.

I was wondering if I can be given some slang words too with the proper meaning and English meaning beside it. I was taught using "car" instead of "parce que" and "vous" instead of "tu". I know that "on" is used more often for "we" than "nous" nowadays.

Like this:

"Comment ça va ?" instead of "Comment allez-vous ?" meaning "How are you?"

Yeah but it's really only required for going to the United States. That's the only reason why the language is what it is today, they've popularized it. I personally would've prefered that the language was to stay in the UK and parts of the former empire. :/
